The International Academy Traunkirchen invites scientists to apply for a Resident Fellowship. A wide range of thematic fields and diverse science personalities is supported. The call is directed at individuals as well as at small groups of up to three persons who intend to work on a mutual project.
Aim of the RESIDENT FELLOWS Program
International scientists are offered the opportunity to concentrate on a specific science project in the beautiful surroundings of Traunkirchen. The International Academy Traunkirchen (IAT) offers office space, facilities and infrastructure to such prospective Scientists in Residence (subject to availability).
Services and facilities provided by the International Academy Traunkirchen
Two offices equipped with computer, wireless LANand printer are available within the Academy’s space.
The Academy’s rooms and facilities are made available free of charge.
The International Academy Traunkirchen does not provide accommodation. We will be pleased to advise you on accommodation possibilities in Traunkirchen hotels and B&Bs. Adequate accommodation possibilities are available in the close vicinity. Timely booking is advisable.
In particularly justified cases, the Academy will to some extent subsidize travel and accommodation costs.

Applications are accepted at any time. Registration as early as possible is advised.
Resident Fellows are selected by a Scientific Advisory Committee.
To give the committee a thorough impression of your planned research project, your research area and your scientific profile, please include the following information in your application:
- Topic and brief description of the event

- Possible time frame / possible dates
